Early design considerations

We thought and kept in mind that we were going to build a chair that had an armrest with a cupholder, but then we thought, "How are we going to build an arm holder out of cardboard?"

Final design considerations

We thought and kept in mind the we were going to change the chair from a chair with an arm holder to a chair that is like a beach chair.

How we scaled up our prototype

We scaled up our prototype by taking the mesurements of our prototype and then multiply all the measurements with a scale factor. After that we used the scaled up measurements to start build our chair.

Teamwork reflections

When we received our task, we  were un certaint that we wouldnt be able to complete a chair with out tape or glue. The both of us were tought a new techniq called Notching. This allowed us to create a Strong and Sturtty chair(S.S). Jorge and i did not really know each other that well. The both of us were like rollercoasters, we would complete something then start goofing around. Jorge and I realized that it wasn't a joke. We  both wanted a grade and  we wanted to be able to donate bids to our non-profit orginization.
WE WERE SUCCESFUL  WITH OUR CHAIR PARIDISE ON THE BEACH!!!!!!!

Improvements

Improvements were made from the prototype to the human size chair as follow:
- Added one more notch to support and stablelize the chair.
-Second improvement was reclining the back support.
-Measurements of the length were increased on the seat.
